Participatory budgeting working group
The Participatory Budgeting Working Group is a non-formal body that has the task of providing long-term support for the participatory budgeting process in Gera.

With the introduction of participatory budgeting in 2012, the city of Gera committed to involving its citizens in shaping selected key areas of the annual budget. The participatory budgeting working group then acts as a non-partisan and independent coordinator between the city administration, the city council and the population. The working group is open to all Gera residents who would like to get involved in the fate of our city in this way. The public meetings, which are open to new participants at any time, are announced in the official gazette of the city of Gera and on this website and sent out as e-mails to existing participants.
