Parking permit - Resident parking permit application

If you wish to obtain a resident parking permit, then you must apply for it at the appropriate authority.

If you are registered with your main or secondary residence in a resident parking area, you can apply for a resident parking permit for your car or motorcycle.

It is best to go in person to the responsible office and present the documents there.

In some cities and municipalities, you can also apply for a resident parking permit in writing or electronically. In these cases, you will receive the parking permit by mail. Ask your city or municipal administration what documents you need to send in this case.

Owners of a vehicle with foreign or foreign license plates are obliged to register their vehicle at their main residence according to § 46 FZV.
